To ensure a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable experience for everyone at our social camping events, all participants are expected to follow this Code of Conduct for the duration of the stay. By attending, you agree to the following:
1. Respect Personal Boundaries
- Always be mindful of others’ personal space.
- No physical contact (including hugging, touching, or any romantic/sexual contact) without clear, enthusiastic consent.
- If someone indicates discomfort—verbally or non-verbally—respect it immediately.
2. Responsible Alcohol Use
- This is a social event, not a party environment.
- Excessive drinking, drunken behaviour, or any alcohol-fuelled disruption is not permitted.
- Event organisers may restrict or stop you drinking if behaviour becomes concerning.
3. Behaviour Toward Others
- Treat all participants with courtesy, kindness, and respect.
- Harassment, intimidation, unwanted advances, or persistent pursuit after someone has declined interest will not be tolerated.
- No verbal abuse, yelling, aggressive behaviour, or any form of discrimination (gender, age, ethnicity, ability, etc.).
4. Privacy and Safety
- Respect others’ privacy. No entering others’ tents, campers or spaces without invitation.
- Do not take photos or videos of others without consent.
- Keep all shared spaces clean and behave in a way that promotes the safety and comfort of the group.
5. Campground Rules
- Follow all site rules regarding noise, fire safety, facilities, and environmental care.
- Comply with directions given by retreat organisers at all times.
6. Zero-Tolerance Behaviours
The following behaviours will result in immediate removal from the event (no refunds provided):
- Physical touching without consent
- Harassment or intimidating behaviour
- Excessive intoxication or alcohol-related incidents
- Breaches of personal boundaries or privacy
- Any behaviour that threatens the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of others
7. Right to Remove
Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant from the premises at any time if their behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive—at their sole discretion.
